On May 16, 2007, a group of indomitable Filipinas, summitted the highest mountain peak in the world, and proved that nothing was impossible.

“We not only summitted Mt. Everest, but we established a world record!
We were the first and only women team in the history of Mt. Everest climbing, to do it via traverse climbing from the north. We took the less preferred, less travelled, equally challenging route from China, (Northside). We reached the summit, and descended via Nepal, (Southside).”

A world record that is still unbroken until today.
A salute to all women in celebration of International Women’s Month this March!

Kaya ng Pinay!
