Top 3 Philippine Independence Day Themed Food Found In The Internet

Even heroes need to EAT. And FREEDOM rhymes with FEED THEM.

And since we believe that not all heroes are in the battlefield (cause some are in the kitchen), we have come to offer you the Top 3 Philippine Independence Day Themed Food Found In The Internet.

We made sure we spent our whole day looking for the best food creations we can find, and we believe our TOP 5 on the list gets your nods as well.

But enough of the talk, let’s go over the list:

1. Puto / Munchkin Flag With Mango and Maja

Now this one got our attention cause of the placement and the variety of Pinoy kakanins present in one masterpiece. The red part seems like our native “Puto”, while the blue part looks like “Munchkins” or “Coco Balls”. And what impressed us the most is the Mango Filled 3 Stars and the Sun with what seems like a “Kutsinta” in the Middle, and “Maja Blanca” making most of the white part of the flag.

If that doesn’t say FILIPINO to you, then I don’t know what is.

2. Philippine Flag Cream Cake (From Vikings)

When it comes to eye-catching, nothing beats this on on the list. From the photo itself, and it’s appealing look. The flavors you taste with every visual imagination. And the walls wraps it all up for the win.

We believe this is a Blue (and Red) berry Cheesecake with Peach and Cream and Sidings made of some sweet something.

3. Gulay Flag of the Philippines

Aside from the look and taste, we’re also looking for something unique and different. We believe this one fits that category.

For this piece, we can clearly see sliced “Kamatis” (tomatoes) making the part of the flag. Singkamas (we’re not sure) makes for the blue part of the flag. The white part is also made of “Singkamas” sliced differently. But the most impressive and Pinoyvative among all is the use of “Balimbing” as the star of the Flag.

Creative right?
