13 Nov Traffic Enforcer Dismissed For Extortion

In an article posted by Bombo Radyo Cagayan de Oro, the Chairman of the Committee on Public Utilities Councilor Bong Lao confirmed that the traffic enforcer charged with extortion has been dismissed from service.
Lao previously called the attention of the heads of Roads and Traffic Administration (RTA) regarding the complaint of a taxi driver who was extorted by a traffic enforcer which led to the charging of traffic enforcer with criminal offenses.
The traffic enforcer was identified as Rex Dignos who arrested a taxi driver after violating traffic rules and regulations but suspiciously asked an additional P500 from the taxi driver.
