Tricycles and Pedicabs Remain Banned on Nat'l Highways in All GCQ and MGCQ Areas, Says DILG

Mga higala! The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has reiterated that in all areas under general community quarantine (GCQ) and modified general community quarantine (MGCQ), tricycles and pedicabs are still banned from operating on national highways.

The said vehicles are only allowed to run in secondary roads, requiring drivers to wear face masks or face shields, and gloves.

Moreover, in order to observe physical distancing, one passenger per trip must be followed, except during medical emergency.
