LOOK: Unchecked Crowd @ CDO’s Gaston Park, COVID-19 Risk

Mga higala! The Gaston Park of Cagayan de Oro City was packed with a lot of people yesterday, December 13, 2020!

Based on photos taken by Mark Anthony Quitoriano II, the said park was crowded from almost all sides, with various individuals just sitting and walking close to each other.

Social distancing measures were basically non-existent and some people weren’t even properly wearing their face masks while many don’t have face shields. ICYDK, crowds like these have a high risk of catching or spreading COVID-19.

Let’s avoid being complacent higala! Remember that the coronavirus disease is an invisible enemy that can affect all of us, including the persons we love. Wear your face masks and face shields when in public, follow social distancing measures, and always avoid crowds when you can.
