22 Dec UPDATE: New Low Pressure Area Expected To Enter PAR This December 26-27
Mga higala! PAGASA has posted an update about the new low pressure area (LPA) near the Philippines, over the Pacific!
According to their press statement today, December 22, the said LPA is expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) this December 26 or 27, 2021. It will then be closest to Mindanao on the evening of the 29th or the morning of the 30th (based on the latest data).
Moreover, this LPA now has a 60-70% chance of developing into a tropical depression.
The public is urged to continue monitoring for updates and remain vigilant against unofficial information coming from unverified sources.
