30 Jul LOOK: Extreme Vertical Bivouac Adventure @ Quezon, Bukidnon
Mga higala! If you wanna try a unique and daring adventure, you should include the Vertical Bivouac destination in Bukidnon to your bucket list!
This is an extreme cliff-camping experience located in Brgy. San Jose, Quezon, Bukidnon, that will challenge you to sleep under the stars, on a cliff ledge that’s 400 feet above the ground.

ICYDK, the term “bivouac” is described as a temporary camp without tents or cover, used especially by soldiers or mountaineers. It is a French word derived from an 18th-century Swiss-German usage of beiwacht; “bei” means “by” and “wacht” means watch or patrol.
HOW TO GET THERE? Here are details by Kara Santos of Travel Up:
The site for this vertical bivouac activity can be found in the Kiokong Eco-Tourism Project area in the Municipality of Quezon.
The jump-off is accessible by land travel from Davao City (3-4 hours), Cagayan de Oro City (4-5 hours), and Cotabato Province (4-5 hours). The jump-off point is along the Davao-Bukidnon National Highway.
