Recently, a Toyota Hilux vehicle wearing the red plate number SKD 417 went viral on social media after it was photographed carrying campaign materials of the Liberal Party while it was parking at an area with surrounding group of men assembling LP posters nearby. The words “Daang Matuwid Roxas” can be seen in the posters.

It was found out that the vehicle used is registered to a local government unit from Mindanao as based on Land Transportation Office records.

This post began to trend when Cebu Flash Report posted it on its facebook page on February 23, morning which then led to allegations that the vehicle is owned by the provincial government of Cebu.

Ethel natera, Cebu provincial information officer, denied that Cebu provincial government is involved with this issue and that the plate numbers of all vehicles of the Capitol end with the number “8” with two exceptions.
