27 Jul PAGASA: Low-Pressure Area to Form Within 24 Hours East of Mindanao
Within 24 hours from now, it is expected that a low-pressure area (LPA) will be formed east of the Philippines, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA). That would be tonight, July 27 or tomorrow on the 28th.
It will bring light to moderate rains and thunderstorms in the eastern part of Mindanao and Visayas.
On Tuesday afternoon, based on a report by PAGASA weather forecaster Shelly Ignacio, the cloud cluster is still outside the Philippine area of responsibility.
The possibility of the LPA to intensify and become a tropical cyclone might still occur.
