14 Mar WHO Confirms Emergence Of COVID-19’s “Deltacron” Variant
Mga higala! The World Health Organization (WHO) has confirmed the emergence of the new COVID-19 variant: DELTACRON, a hybrid strain of the Delta and Omicron variants!
In recent press conferences, WHO disclosed that several cases have already been detected in Denmark, France, the Netherlands, and more.
These cases were said to be infected with a form composed of the spike protein from Omicron and the body of the Delta variant.
However, no changes in the severity of symptoms have been reported and more studies are now being conducted to learn more about this Deltacron variant.
