05 Sep Woman Burns a Dog Using Blowtorch in CDO
On a video, it shows a woman hurt a dog by burning it using a blowtorch and it was said that she is residing in Cagayan de Oro City.
The video was posted on a facebook page named Pepeng Hugotero. The dog was fastened in all four feet while the woman was burning it using a blowtorch.
The caption reads, “Isang babae nanunog ng aso sa Cagayan De Oro City. Please share this video para mabigyan ng hustisya yung aso.”
The video is 1 minute and 4 seconds long, it showed that the dog stopped moving after attempting to free itself.
The woman was also caught smiling as she was burning the dog.
GMA News contacted the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) concerning this video, but the organization was not available for immediate response.
According to the Animal Welfare Act, those who will be found guilty of animal cruelty will be charged with 6 months to two years imprisonment and/or be fined for about P1,000 to P5,000.
