27 Jan Woman, who lured street children in CDO into Pornography and Abuse, was arrested in Cebu
The woman behind the “Daisy Video Case” was arrested in a beach resort in Malapascua Island situated in the Visayan Sea on January 25, Wednesday past noon.
According to a report from Inquirer, the suspect had 16 pending arrest warrants in Cagayan de Oro city for allegedly persuading street children to come with her. It was said that these children are victims of sexual abuse as the suspect forced them to do sexual acts in front of a camera, they were also tortured which caused their death.
National Bureau of Investigation in Central Visayas (NBI-7) identified the suspect as Liezyl Margallo from Misamis Oriental, live-in partner and an alleged cohort of Peter Gerard Schully, an Australian pedophile who was also arrested last February 2016 at Malaybalay, Bukidnon.
The “Daisy Video Case” shows a naked one-year-old girl with her hands tied, legs were drawn apart, lips sealed with duct tape while she was being tortured and sexually assaulted by a masked older girl which is now recognized as Margallo.
NBI-7 Assistant Dominador Cimfranca said that with the help of the Australian Federal Police, they were able to track down Margallo.
Upon her arrest, she was with two British nationals.
Margallo will be forwarded to Cagayan de Oro City and would be turned over to the court that issued 16 arrest warrants against her, Cimafranca said.
