18 Jan XU & MSU-IIT Among PH Universities In UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2020
Mga higala! Xavier University (XU)-Ateneo De Cagayan and Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) has been included in the 6 Philippine universities that made it to the GreenMetric World University Rankings 2020 of Universitas Indonesia (UI)!
XU garnered a score of 4050 while MSU-ITT received 4800 points.
ICYDK, The GreenMetric World University Ranking was initiated by Universitas Indonesia in 2010 to promote the reduction of carbon footprint and contribute to the mitigation of global climate change while recognizing universities who are exerting efforts towards this goal.
Universities are ranked based on their scores in the following areas:
setting and infrastructure, energy and climate change, waste, water, transportation, and education and research
BTW, the other PH universities are:
- De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (7275)
- De La Salle University-Manila (6875)
- Ateneo de Davao University (4150)
- Foundation University (2875)
