12 Mar Mother Punches Stomach To Give Birth & Throws Newborn Baby In A Drum @ Brgy. Cugman, Cagayan de Oro City
Mga higala! A 19-year-old mother in Cagayan de Oro City is now in jail, after abandoning her newborn baby boy inside a plastic drum at the Alwana Compound in Barangay Cugman.
According to the mother’s statement, she forcefully gave birth by punching her stomach several times, because she was having problems with the father of the baby.
She then wrapped the infant with cellophane and put him in the said drum, where he was found by garbage collectors.
The baby boy was immediately brought to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) for emergency medical care but sadly died after a few hours.
