11 Oct Zamboanga Police Seized Abu Sayyaf Bomber
On October 10, Monday, a suspected Abu Sayyaf bomber was apprehended in Zamboanga City.
Chief Inspector Helen Galvez, Zamboanga city police spokesperson identified the terrorist as Amir Intong Salihin who was arrested close to the Metropolitan Cathedral of Immaculate Conception church near Campaner street at around 7:50 a.m.
A caliber .45 pistol, a rifle grenade, and ammunition were confiscated from Salihin, said Galvez.
According to the tactical interrogation, Salihin is a follower of the group headed by Isnilon Hapilon and was tasked to obtain bomb materials.

War Against Illegal Drugs in Cagayan De Oro
Alleged Tokhang surrenderee was arrested and is facing charges for selling illegal drugs.
City Anti-Illegal Drug Task Force (CAIDTF) deputy commander Insp Mario Mantala Jr. identified the suspect as Las Fernandez Solomon. He was arrested during the anti-drugs buy-and-bust operation conducted at
Zone 7, Brgy Bulua, Cagayan De Oro.
Multiple rectangular-sized sachets containing methamphetamine hydrochloride or commonly known as “shabu.” He was seized as the agent bought a sachet of shabu worth P500.
The suspect had been sought by police for long as complained by the residents in the area.
